Lilly Orphanage Kindergarten is a non political, charitable community based organization that was set up to in 2000 with a goal object of offering free basic education to young orphans irrespective of sex, creed, race, tribe, colour, ethnicity, and family background.

The idea of Lilly Orphanage Kindergarten was initiated by Miss Namwanje Priscilla who after a preliminary study in and around Lungujja, found out that many school age going children lacked access to education and quality education facilities. Her study indicated that 82% of these children were orphans staying mostly with their grandparents in rented failures.

The Orphanage is located in Uganda East Africa at Lungujja-Kikandwa Lubaga division a suburb 4kms west of the capital Kampala off Wakaliga road along Kalema Road, behind Backpakers.

The charity undertakes the task of meeting her set objectives by soliciting and setting up income generating projects.  By so doing we are able to relatively meet the needs of these children and paying salaries plus any bills that come along including water, ground rent bills etc.
